How to convert QuickTime movies to DVD?
QuickTime (.mov)
is a multimedia development, storage,
and playback technology developed by Apple Computer. QuickTime supports
video, animation, graphics, 3D and virtual reality (VR).
Apart from these terms, for most of us, using a
QuickTime player to watch and control QuickTime movies could bring
great pleasure. While QuickTime files could not be played directly on DVD player, it is
a good idea to
burn QuickTime video to DVD
and
burn quicktime movie.
Here we show you an easy way to have the job done with the
quicktime movie converter
in the
following step-by-step guide.
Step 1: QuickTime Player.
Make
sure you have QuickTime Player installed on your Mac or PC. QuickTime
Player is available free from Apple and can be downloaded from Apple’s QuickTime page.
Step 2: Download Aimersoft DVD Creator and install it
Meanwhile, you can insert DVD +R (DVD-R, DVD+RW or DVD-RW) into DVD-ROM.
Note: The DVD-ROM should have writing and recording functions.
Step 3: Add video files
Click
“Load Video” or select “Load Video” under the “File” drop-down menu to
load QuickTime MOV videos or movies from your hard drive. Multiple
video files could be added at a time. After the MOV video files have
been added, they will appear in the main interface. Display the loaded
MOV files by double click to choose the video file which you want to
convert.
Step 4: Convert MOV video to DVD directly
If you don’t want to add any special effect, of course you can convert video to DVD directly.
Drag
and drop video files from the main interface to the storyboard below,
click the video file which you want to burn and click “burn” to burn it
to DVD directly.
Step 5: Start burning QuickTime MOV files to DVD
Burn MOV to DVD disc: Click “Burn”, select “DVD”
option in the “Burn to” field, specify a temp folder (used to save the
generated temporary files), select your DVD drive and burning program
(either built-in or your own burning application), select your TV
Standard and output Aspect Ratio, and click “Start” to burn your
project.
Burn MOV to ISO or DVD folder: Click “Burn”, select
the “DVD Folder” or “ISO file” option, specify a folder to save them,
and click “Start” to generate DVD files or ISO onto your computer.
TV Standard: “NTSC” is 30 fps, which is used in USA, Canada and Japan; “PAL” is 25fps, which is used in Europe and Asia.
Tips:
1.The used disc space is shown on the disc space bar underneath the
storyboard; You can select the size of burning DVD between “DVD-R4.5G”
and “DVD-R9.0G”; The output quality is also up to your choice, you may
select “Low video quality”, “High video quality” or “Highest video
quality”.
2.You
can organize a video slideshow with customizable menu, transition
effects and background music etc. You can preview the effects and
choose the one you like best.
